Military heritage

Marked by wars and successive occupations, the three-borders area in Moselle (Lorraine) is the witness to a vast military past. Because it was at the centre of World War 1 and World War 2, the area has many things to make you discover. Between outstanding architectures and the technical structures’ complexity, the Maginot line’s buildings, shelters and Festen offer an incredible history. Discovering them, often proposed by passionate people or volunteers, is indescribable.
